Advanced Defensive Pistol Training - Phase III
This class takes shooters to the next level in mastering the techniques learned in ADP I and ADP II. Following a review of safety and the lawful use of deadly force, students must employ learned techniques under more stressful conditions and in more demanding scenarios including room clearing. Rapid reloading will be reemphasized as will fighting from the ground up when wounded or disabled by an assailant. Again, students will shoot 250-300 rounds of ammunition during this 7-hour course. Though we strive to move students beyond their comfort zones, no student is ever required to participate in any event that exceeds their safe shooting skills or physical prowess. Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of Deliberate Defense ADP Phase II. A functioning semiautomatic handgun with at least three magazines, strong-side holster, and magazine holder.
